SODOM AND GOMORAH
Christians today, who are spiritually attuned even in the slightest know this world is returning to the Sodom and Gomorrah level of perversion. Good is being more and more called evil, and evil, called good. Examples abound.
Homosexuality is now an alternate lifestyle. More than this, same-sex relationships are being given governmental stamps of approval, making them like marriage between a man and a woman. Governments edict that baby whales must be saved at all costs; human babies must be killed in the womb, as a matter of convenience. The Bible can't be read, or God's name mentioned in public schools, but the FCC Commissioners have determined the "F" word is now okay for network broadcasters to use over public airwaves. Nativity scenes and the Ten commandments cannot be displayed in public places.
“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men [and women] shall be…without natural affection.” “For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly…they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient…” (See 2 Timothy 3:1, 3 and Romans 1:26-28). As these words referred to the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah for their iniquitous and immoral practices, likewise today, these words are being fulfilled in society.

On July 25, seven openly gay pastors were ordained to the Evangelical Lutheran ministry in St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in San Francisco. It was the first of several such ceremonies planned since the denomination voted to allow noncelibate gay ministers in “committed relationships” to serve as pastors.
“The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, known as the E.L.C.A., with 4.6 million members, is now the largest Protestant church in the United States to permit noncelibate gay ministers to serve in the ranks of its clergy — an issue that has caused wrenching divisions for it as well as for many other denominations.”
“Since the church voted last summer to allow noncelibate gay clergy members to serve, 185 congregations have taken the two consecutive votes required to leave the denomination…” There are 10,396 congregations nationwide.”
“The Episcopal Church and the United Church of Christ also allow gay ministers. And the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)’s general assembly voted at its convention earlier [in July] to do so, though the vote will become church law only if is ratified by a majority of the church’s 173 regional presbyteries.

“The Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles reported the approval of the election of Mary Douglas Glasspool as their first openly partnered lesbian assistant bishop. The decision drew sharply contrasting reactions from those within the Episcopal community, including dissatisfaction from the Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams.
“Glasspool, 56, was elected bishop in December of last year but had to wait for consent from the Office of the Episcopal Church, which was confirmed yesterday [March 18].”
“On Thursday, however, Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams emailed a statement to the Episcopal News Service from Lambeth Palace, saying, ‘it is regrettable that the appeals from Anglican Communion bodies for continuing gracious restraint have not been heeded.’
“Bishop David C. Anderson, President and CEO of the American Anglican Council, issued a statement echoing the concern of the Archbishop of Canterbury… ‘Despite pleas to the contrary, they have given their consent for a partnered lesbian to become a bishop, not just for Los Angeles, but for the whole church,’ the bishop added.”

“Lawmakers in California are proposing a law that would require schools to portray lesbians, homosexuals, transsexuals” and those with alternative sexual lifestyles as “role models to children in all public schools.”
Officials from the Campaign for Children and Families describe the proposal, SB 48 sponsored by the openly homosexual Senator, Mark Leno, as the “worst school sexual indoctrination ever.”
On the Campaign for Children and Families’ website, the organization says the plan by homosexual activist, Leno, would require all students, including children in kindergarten, in social studies to learn more about “lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender” role models.
“The Democratic state legislators pushing this radical bill want to recruit boys and girls to support the homosexual-bisexual-transsexual agenda, personally and publicly,” the organization’s Action Alert explains. “They want them to become LGBTIQ activists [and] help trample religious freedom, free speech, parental rights, business-owner rights, private property rights, the Boy Scouts, and everything else you hold dear.”
Gay activists have “changed the truth of God into a lie,” and are worshipping and serving the creature rather than the Creator (See Romans 1:25) through the indulgence of their perverse lusts.

“The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) says it will not back down from its decision to label the Family Research Council (FRC) and other socially conservative groups as hate groups,” together with radical, extremist groups such as the Ku Klux Klan and other Aryan Nations for their views about homosexuality.
The FRC was placed on the list with 11 other groups such as the American Family Association, the Traditional Values Coalition. These conservative groups advocate the biblical marriage and family model, and values. Others such as the National Organization for Marriage and the Concerned Women for America were just classified as being anti-gay.
Tony Perkins, president of the FRC requested to have the SPLC retract the hate group designation, but SPLC Intelligence Project Director, Mark Potok, said that will never happen!
“Labelling people and groups as hate groups is laying the groundwork to then charge them with hate crimes using the full force of government to oppress people for their beliefs,” said Concerned Women America president Wendy Wright.
Potok says that the SPLC added the FRC to the hate group list because it claims that gay men molest children at higher rates than straight men, that gay activists want to eliminate age of consent laws, etc.
Vatican Reverses Stance On Gay Marriage After Meeting Tony And Craig
July 13, 2011
VATICAN CITY—In a stunning and unexpected reversal of long-standing doctrine, Pope Benedict XVI proclaimed the Roman Catholic Church's unequivocal support for gay marriage Tuesday, just hours after meeting Stonington, CT couple Tony Ruggiero and Craig Housinger.
The papal decree—which authorizes priests to administer the sacrament of holy matrimony to same-sex partners and explicitly states that "homosexual relations between two consenting adults is not, and never has been, a sin"—was reportedly a direct result of the pope sharing an afternoon of engaging conversation and hearty laughter with the gay couple.
"Not only are Tony and Craig complete sweethearts, but anyone who spends more than two minutes with them can see they're clearly perfect for each other," said Benedict, who in the past has described homosexual behavior as a grave disease that threatens all of humanity. "They're fun, gracious, and simply wonderful company. And you can tell they have something special just by the way they look at each other."
"They're soulmates, really," added the pope, smiling. "Allowing them to formalize their union in the Church is the least we could do for them."
Vatican officials said the vacationing couple and the Supreme Pontiff met during a routine papal audience at St. Peter's Basilica, and "really hit it off" after discovering shared interests in photography, the piano, and Spanish cuisine.
